AET CORPORATE POLICY STATEMENT ON HEALTH, SAFETY AND ENVIRONMENT

AET's Corporate Policy is to strive for excellence in all its activities including health, safety and environmental matters.

AET is committed to give priority to Health, Safety and Environment wherever AET operates and shall endeavor to take every reasonable and practicable step to prevent and eliminate the risk of injuries, health hazards and damage to properties. AET shall also take necessary steps towards the conservation and preservation of the environment.

 
   
 
 

To achieve these objectives, AET shall ensure that the facilities and services it operates and provides are in accordance with appropriate legal requirements, industry standards and best practices.

AET shall provide the necessary resources, organisation, system and training and shall communicate with employees, contractors, customers, suppliers and the public with regard to appropriate matters on health, safety and environment.

AET shall also ensure that contingency plans are in place and maintained to deal with emergencies and shall periodically review the health, safety and environment management system and practices to ensure their continual improvement.

AET expects all its employees and contractors to strictly adhere to this policy at all times.

AET SHIPMANAGEMENT POLICY ON HEALTH, SAFETY AND ENVIRONMENT

Policy:

The Company’s Policy is to strive for excellence in all its activities including Health, Safety and Environmental matters.

Commitment & Objectives

The Company is committed to give priority to Health, ensure Safety at sea; prevention of human injury or loss of life; prevention of pollution; avoidance of damage to the environment, in particular to the marine environment and to property; the preservation and conservation of our environment; and to continual improvement in Health Safety and Environmental performance.

The Health, Safety and Environment management system objectives of Company are to:

  • provide for safe practices in ship operation and a safe and healthy working environment.
  • establish safeguards against all identified risks.
  • continuously improve the Health, Safety and Environment management skills of all personnel ashore and aboard ships, including preparing for emergencies related to both safety and environmental protection.
  • take necessary steps towards the conservation and preservation of the environment appropriate to the nature, scale and environmental impacts of the Company’s shore based and shipboard activities and services.

To achieve all of the above, the Company shall:

  • ensure that the ships and services it operates and provides are in compliance with mandatory rules, regulations, legal requirements, applicable codes, guidelines recommended by International Maritime Organisation, flag administrators, classification societies and maritime industry’s standards and best practices to which it subscribes.
  • provide the necessary resources, organisation and training,
  • communicate this policy to the public, other interested parties and all persons working for and on behalf of the company.
  • periodically review the health, safety and environment management system, its set objectives and targets to ensure continual improvement.
  • expect all its employees and contractors to strictly adhere to this policy at all times.
