Fleet Expansion.
The AET fleet continues to grow, to better service customers’ growing demands. Over the last three years, the fleet has grown from 31 cargo carrying vessels to 71 vessels and now includes 49 Aframax and 11 VLCCs.

An additional 17 Aframax and 1 VLCC tankers are on order, for delivery in the next four years.

"We believe that the diversity of our operations, the size of our fleet and the interchangeability of our tankers enable us to deploy our fleet efficiently and to provide our customers with prompt and reliable service."

Exclusively Double hulled fleet.
AET currently owns or operates a fleet of 71 tankers, all of which are double-hulled or double-sided. There are no single-hulled tankers in the fleet and the intention is to have an exclusively double-hulled fleet in the near future. With an exclusively double hulled fleet, AET will be well positioned to meet the demand for quality vessels resulting from the ever more stringent environmental regulations.

"We believe that we will be one of the first major crude oil tanker companies in either the Atlantic or Pacific Basin to have an exclusively double-hulled fleet"
